Excellence Programs provide tailored training for critical skill areas. Each program requires the completion of 12 online courses. Participants who successfully complete a program earn 48 hours of continuing education credits as well as NASASPS Certification as a Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP). CHEPs receive a NASASPS certificate and are recognized on the NASASPS website. These 48 hours of continuing education credits may be applied toward a Master of Science degree in Education from Keiser University. (Keiser University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award certificates and degrees at the associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels.) To maintain certification with NASASPS, CHEPs must complete 8 hours of continuing education annually from the APSA Online Training Center (or other NASASPS-approved training providers). NASASPS has recognized hundreds of CHEPs. See Official List.
